You seem to be the only person on the web with knowledge of the Al Mar/Benchmade collaboration, the GPA. I recently acquired an automatic from a former Special Forces Jump Master. It closely resembles the GPA with a few differences, those being the pivot pin and screw, the serrations (although close), and that the blade is sterile. The gentleman said that he picked it up in the 80's as a private sale, said that it was a Benchmade, and used it throughout his career. It is well used. I would like to send you a pic of this and get your opinion on this.

Wonderful collection you have Scott. Hopefully I will see it during an upcoming show?
Your site was THE only one where I actually saw my 800BT2 prototype Spring 1998 1/135. I wanted to ask you if your box has a handwritten NICH # on the side like mine does?
Thanks, Carriejune
ps I bet you get these kinds of emails all the time!

Killer pics. Love the NM grind album the best.

Question: Are you familiar with the MSC BFF GG NM? I'm trying to track down the year(s) it was made. Any help is appreciated.

Hello Haveblue I have aquired your #17 heat treat Sng and myself and others at USN on the strider thread were looking for any info on the heat treat finish. Any info on it's history would be greatly appreciated.

Love your photos, Iam an avid Strider fan, collecting primarily NM and XL's. I am wondering about the Nitinol fixed blade shown in your gallery, back ground dsign etc, but even more so where to find one, if duane plans to produce them at any point. Incidentally, it was nice to see 008 tanto, I acquired it last summer. Regards, wetworker

Scott,

What a gorgeous collection of knives and guns you have! Thank you for sharing them. My favorites are the BM705's, ARES, and the 941's. Simply beautiful.

Best wishes, Jeff/1911.
