As a newbie photographer, it's a great learning camera. Automatic mode takes great pictures when focusing on composition. The manual modes are varied enough and have enough on-screen help to allow you to try your hand at new things. Full manual focus is useless but battery life is great.

Great camera when you don't have the space for an SLR. Makes good quality photos and has some options of add on lenses and filters.

Wonderfull Camera. i just got it 3 hours ago. and i did about 100 shots. it is amazing , i could say it is a compact DSLR. with alot of manual settings. thumb to sony H2 ,and it is the best in its range, beating Canon S3 IS. Good Job Sony

I've tested it for few days and the image is just amazing. For those who want low end DSLR quality and don't want to carry extra lens, the SONY H2 is defintely worth consider. - The Image Stablization is amazing.
