This was at Cape Perpetua, though when I think of wild strawberries in Oregon, my mind takes me to the Bob Straub Wayside.
I can't remember when it was that we saw some wild strawberries with fruit during the summer. Anyway, the berries were so small that it wasn't even worth it to pick them. I think I'll just hold out for blackberries. Okay, so I'd also be happy to take thimbleberries, wild raspberries, blueberries, huckleberries, or salmonberries. I guess that I'm not so picky after all.
