January 28: No Cookout Tonight

Rancho Bernardo, CA

There I was, peacefully napping on my den couch recovering from my arduous journey to the freeway jungle called LA, when I was startled awake by a pounding rainstorm.

I guess I’ll have to cook something inside tonight.

A reminder to all, it is going to rain on our PaD parade Saturday as Slug replaces and upgrades equipment. There will be times the servers are down. Don’t despair, he promises much better service.

BTW, note the ISO of 1600. Boy is this 20D hot stuff! ;-)

See my ***alternative PAD shot *** of rain puddles (thrill?)

You let a bit of rain interfere with a BBQ! Shame...
Gary Winters30-Jan-2005 02:23

Slug Said something to us!?!? NO WAY!

Our rain at this time of year is white and makes no noise, just adds up, a little at a time until we are drowning in it. :-) What??? Slug actually spoke to us?? Where, where?

Darn this image is awash, but a great metaphore about the rain delays of tomorrow. Glad to see you already have your tarp out over the PAD site.

Suppose to rain tomorrow as well in parts of Southern California. Yikes! Stuck indoors with no PBase? What will I ever do?

Very neat raindrops. It is pouring buckets here, too.
