This will be the last of my images posted from the Oct. trip to Havasuspai to see the various falls like Havasu, Navaho, Mooney and Beaver. I hope, however, that this is not the last image I post from the magical location.
This particular image is a 7 image mosaic stitch taken about 1/2 mile or so above Beaver Falls. While taking this image, I must have made so many various mistakes it was almost funny. The first take I had AF turned ON, then I left AE turned on. It was almost funny how long this image took to capture correctly. It was also not the original crop that I wanted. I took the image as a 2.5:1 pano. I did not like it as much as this crop.
The various minerals in the water give the beautiful Turquoise color. The red of the rock is the natural color of the canyon walls after the light has filtered down threw the canyon.
