20051029 / Parvati Under Glass

San Mateo, CA

Behind a plate glass window, Parvati, consort of Lord Shiva, stood stoic
amongst artifacts of ancient Greece & Rome in downtown San Mateo. I
slowed the roll of 76mm urethane and greeted her from the grip-taped
deck - a streetside namaste.

Aside from the shot, which is another cracker (and now you've set the bar high, I expect nothing else;-), I love the description of the lifestyle accompanying it. Careful with that urethane, I've seen the x games, it can be slippy!

Even better if this is behind glass, like the way the light is falling, almost a monochrome shot, very nice

Very nicely done.

Great detail and angle.

Like the picture, I have no idea what the hell the rest of it means. I am guessing it wasn't a point and shoot.

I love the detail in the image, very nice. Further I like the darkness and it is almost hard to believe that it is shot behidn glass.

Very crisp Chris (say taht 3x fast :) This was under glass?? Superb-no glare and it looks like they had a bit of harsh light, with the shadow. WELL done!

Beautiful capture, Chris. Details are great, sharp. And light is beautiful on this old wise aesthetic face.
