20060905 / Parvati

The Collective / San Mateo, CA

I used to visit her about once a week when she was in the antique store window.
They moved her upstairs, so now I have to go inside to chat her up. I would
love to take her home, but for $3800.00, I could just fly to India and see
her in person in the comfort of her own home, yes?

other sizes: small medium original auto

Awesome point of focus.
I'm trying to think what camera gear I would get w/ that $3800!

I also love the angle, the colours and your story.
I too wish you might bring her at home. At least, you have a beautiful image now ;-)

The detail is stunning and I like the angle.

The story itself is beautiful :) The photo is even better. Too bad that she's so expensive, because one can see that u really like her Chris.

This is great! As you have done before, you have a way of humanizing inanimate objects, especially through your use of light and shadow! Great dof here too! V.
